Breathing Apparatus Training

Designed for all types of industrial needs, the BA Wearers’ Course is 25% theory and 75% practical. All of BHB’s staff are qualified breathing apparatus instructors and service engineers. Medical checklists, individual assessments and physical exercises will, be carried out on the course.

The course is designed for those who have not received any Breathing Apparatus training in the past. It will take them through progressive steps that will give them the confidence to work in confined spaces and prepare them may they have to affect emergency procedures.

• List the Regulations applicable to the BA
• Describe the principles of respiration
• Construct BA
• List BA procedures
• Service and maintain BA equipment
• Use Airline trolley system
