We can provide your business with a comprehensive service to carry out either on site testing or testing at our premises near Templepatrick, Co Antrim. The approved code of practice and guidance supporting the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations, the Control of Lead at Work Regulations, the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations and the Ionising Radiation Regulations recommend fit testing to be carried out on respiratory protective equipment (RPE) which incorporate tight fitting face-pieces.

It is a method for checking that the face-piece matches the wearer’s facial features and has an adequate seal. The test provides a numerical measure, called the Fit Factor.
This depends on the type of face-piece being tested:
FFP3 (Disposable) 100
Half Mask 100
Full Face Mask 2000
As well as having the correct size and shape of mask, donning it correctly is important. In our experience incorrect fitting is one of the major causes of failure.

Half day (up to 8 people) £300
Full day (up to 14 people) £600
(All prices exclude VAT)
Each test takes approximately 30 minutes to conduct.
Individuals must be clean shaven and refrain from smoking or eating ½ hour before the test.
